With over 35 years of experience in the Costa Del Sol market, Richard has founded and grown a vast number of companies including property development, sales and marketing, timeshare, finance, and strategic investments.
Richard Warren Jackson has and continues to accomplish incredible things throughout his life. Starting in Martha’s Vineyard in Boston, Cape Cod in Massachusetts and Florida, Richard started Global Marketing which led to building Global Development which he ran for 12 years before selling the company in 1997, when his son was born.
Viva Estates
Richard co-founded Viva Estates in the Costa Del Sol in 1998 which was one of the most well known and market leading real estate agencies on the coast for many years. During the years 1998-2006, Viva sold 7,500 homes on the coast for 2.5bn€ in sales value.
Higuerón West
More recently, he played a key role in the success of Higuerón West, a high-profile luxury residential project near Benalmádena, known for its strong international appeal and design-led concept. Richard led the sales and marketing as the Commercial Director for the project which sold 900 units in 4 years.
IDILIQ Consulting
Richard was also engaged by the IDILIQ group on a consulting assignment working closely with the owner and senior management to improve the pace of sales of their Wyndham Grand La Cala Golf Resort, (WGLGR), with their golf front, super high quality, fully furnished homes. These homes met the criteria of the “Wyndham Grand” brand, which only is awarded to 1% of the 9286 hotels and resorts worldwide that come under the Wyndham management brand. The 57 homes have now been sold out in 9 months. Richard also worked closely with IDILIQ’s senior management team to restructure the apart-hotel products and sales presentation to increase the pace of sales at IDILIQ’s 1000 unit development in Mijas Costa and at their 500 units in Tenerife.
New Venture
With his vast experience in the property sector and a trusted reputation built over decades, Richard has developed a powerful network of contacts and a sharp eye for untapped potential. Now, working alongside his son Luke, Richard is leveraging this wealth of experience to launch a new venture focused on sourcing, renovating, and repositioning off-market properties across the Costa del Sol.
